DESIGN FORIA COVER FOR CLOSET-SEATS.
SPECIFIGATION forming part of Design No. 32,290, dated February 27, 1900.
Application fiied December 19, 1899. Serial No 740,94'7. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM T. BALDWIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at East Radford, in the county of Montgomery and State of Virginia, have invented and pro- .dnced a new and original Design fora Cover for Oloset-Seats, of which the following is a specification.
This invention reiates to a new and nseful to design for a cover for eloset-seats; and the essential feature thereof resides in an elongated body having an Opening therein of elongated form, provided with eoncave side walls having an angnlar intersection at the rear :5 and terminating at the front at diametricailyopposite points on opposite sides of an entrant flap, having a greater part of its edge in the are of a cireie, and opposite side portions paraiiel with the adjacent parts of the io side Walls of the said Opening, and therehy produces a heart-shaped appearance in the center of the cover.
The fignre of the drawing is a plan view of the cover embodying the features of the de- :5 sign.
The numerai l designates an elongated body constitnting the cover, having an opening 2 therein with opposite concave side walls 6 anguiarly intersecting at the rear, as at 7. The Walls G terminate at the front at diametrically-opposite points, as at 4, and between the same is a narrow flap 3, which enters the Opening 2 a short distance and has the major portion of its edge 8 convex. The opposite front side portions of the edge of the tongue are formed in abrupt anguiar pianes to the edge 8 and parailel with adjacent portions of the side walls 6 of the Opening 2. The front end of the body 1 is of compound convex contonr, as at 5 5, and the cnrves nnite in the center in an entrant ang'uiar reeess 10. The curves 5 at their outer extreinities intersect the parallel side edges 11 of the body.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is;
The design for a cover for a cioset-seat, herein shown and described.
