DESIGN FOR A STOVE OR RANGE BACK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,009, dated December 19, 1899;
Application filed November l0, 1899. Serial No. 736,542. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, GEORGE E. WILBUR, a citizen of the United States, residing at Tanna ton, in the county of Bristol and State of Masi sachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Backs for Stoves or Ranges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a View in perspective of the shelves and their support. Fig. 2 is a view in vertical section upon the dott-ed line 2 2 of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 isa view in horizontal section upon the dotted line 3 3 of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the general shape of the shelvesA B, of the plates C, D, and E, and of the side brackets F and G, the whole comprising a back for a stove or ran ge. The shelves are practically parallelograms, with rounded outer edges upon the sides and front. The shelf B is wider than the shelf A and extends beyond it at the front. The plate C is rounded outwardly at c and has the two wings c c2, parallel with each other. The plate D is substantially a parallelogra n1 and flat throughout. The plate E has the rounded or curved top e and corners e' e2.
The brackets F and G are counterparts and have their front edges fand g, respectively, curved, as represented in Figs. land 2.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
