DESIGN FOR WALL-PAPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,990, dated December 12, 1899.
Application filed November 13, 1899. Serial No. 736,888. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HARRY WEARNE, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, and a resident of Rixheirn, Alsace, Germany, have in- 5 Vented and produced a new and original Design for W'all-Paper, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which is represented a plan View of a 10 strip of wall-paper embodying the features of my design.
The design consists of a number of plain bars so grouped that they form between them a central wide panel and a series of narrow 15 side panels. The central panel is decorated with bouquets of flowers in which roses are prominent, and the bouquets are connected by sprays. The inner and the outer narrow panels are decorated with a chain of roses, and a continued floral spray is the decoration 20 for the intermediate narrow panels.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent The design for wall-paper as herein shown 2 5 and described.
