DESIGN FOR WALL-PAPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,991, dated. December 12, 1899.
Application filed November 16,1899. erial No. 737.243. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HARRY WEARNE, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, and a resident of Rixheim, Alsace, Germany, have invented and produced a new and originalDesign for Wall-Paper, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which is represented a plan View of a strip of wall-paper embodying the features of my design.
The leading features of the design consist of a. series of connected loops of ribbon and bunches and sprays of flowers supported by the ribbon forming the loops.
The detail features of the design consist of the connected loops of ribbon the ribbon being formed into bows, which appear Where the loops connect. A large bunch of flowers of the rose, tulip, and morning-glory type appears at the central loop, while smaller bunches of smaller flowers decorate the loops surrounding the central one.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for Wallpaper as herein shown and described.
