Application filed December 18, 1900. Serial No. 40,316. Term of patent 7 years- To all whom it rrmy concern.-
Be it known that I, HARRY WEARNE, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, and a resident of Rixheim, Alsace, Germany, have invented and produced a new and original Design for VVall-Paper, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which is represented a section of wall-paper embodying the features of my design.
The leading feature of the design consists in a garland of flowers of the passion-flower and rose varieties and a basket of flowers, mainly of the rose type, appearing suspended by the garland.
The minor features of the design consist in the formation of the garland, which comprises a central loop of passion flowers, their stems and leaves, a central pendent member of the same type of flowers, and side members of 20 the rose type, including stems and leaves. The basketis apparently suspended from the central member of the garland, and a festoon of flowers appears at the bottom of the basket, while some sprays from the basket extend below its bottom.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for wall-paper as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
HARRY WEARNE.
