SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,460, dated October 4, 1898.
Application filed August, 31, 1398. Serial No. 689,958. Terni of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM KEIL, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of New York, borough of Manhattan, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Fabric, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which is represented a plan View of a section of fabric embodying the features of my design.
The design consists of a bodyA and a border B. The body A presents alternate lozen ge and plain stripes a and a', which merge into triangular panels a2, which panels are decorated with open threadwork and fanciful Iigures. The border Bis separated from the body A by a bar b, and the border is decorated by floral gures b', the figures in adjacent rows facing in opposite directions. The border is further ornamented by a skirting b2, representing open threadwork and fanciful figures.
The leading feature of the design consists in a striped body and panels, into which the stripes merge, and in floral decorations for the border and a skirting for the same.
