DESlGN FOR A BELT.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWARD J. DE1TSCH,re siding,r in the city of New York, borough of Manhattan, county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original shape or con gu ration, aDesign fora Belt, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, of which- The drawing illustrates a perspective view of the belt.
A A' represent two parts of the belt. Each of the two parts of the belt consists of an upper and a lower band a a'.
b is a knot by which the two parts of the belt are detachably connected together when the belt is not in use.
c c' represent two loops or stays by which the upper and lower bands of the belt are horizontally held at equal distance from the knob b and the buckle ends of the parts A A'.
D represents the buckle of the belt.
The feature of my design consists of a twopart belt, each of which parts is doubled, rounded, and plaited, and lied or knotted together at the rear central portion of the said parts. The front end of one of thesaid parts is connected together by means of a piece of leather or other suitable material, carryinga buckle, and the front end of the other part is fastened together'by means of a piece of leather having holes therein.
The belt ls made of leather, but may be made of any suitable material.
