DESIGN FOR A STRAP.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,788, dated December 4, 1888.

Application filed October 30, 1888. Serial No. 289,562. Term of patent 7 years.

.To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that l, EDWIN B. STIMPSON, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a St rap, of which the following is a specification.

I will describe my design for straps in detail, and then point out the novel features in a claim.

The accompanying drawing illustrates a strap showing my design.

This strap has substantially parallel side edges. Near each of the side edges thereof and extending lengthwise of the strap is delineated a. zigzag line, a. About midway in the width of the strap, and also extending lengthwise thereof, is delineated a band, 11. This band is composed of a number of ap proximately parallel lines, (3, extending at right angles to the direction of the length of the band.

\Vhat I claim as my design is The design for a. strap having approximately parallel side edges, and a. surface ornamentation consisting of zigzag lines a and an in termediate ban d, b, composed of substantially parallel lines 0, substantially as shown and described.
