DESIGN FOR A PLOW-BEAM.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SIMON R` SARGENT, a citizen ot' the United States, residing at Castleton, county of Rutland, State of Vermont, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Plow-Beam, of which the following is a specification, reference being had t0 the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure l of the drawings is a view in side elevation of a plow-beam embodying my new design. Fig. 2 is a top plan view of the same. Fig. 3 is a vertical cross-section of the same, taken on the broken line 3 3 in Fig. 2.
As shown in the drawings, the leading feature of my design consists of two parallel side members l 2, occupying vertical planes parallel with cach other and separated by a space 3, closed at intervals by the transverse members 4, extending across said space from one side member to the other. The side members have each one end straight, as at 5, and the opposite end reversely curved, as at 6. The beam has an enlargement 7 at the outer end of the straight portion of the side members.
That I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a plow-beam herein shown and described.
