DESIGN FOR A RUBBER SCRAPING-KNIFE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,404, dated March 28, 1899.

lie it known that 1, Louis FRED HOOKER, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Rubber Scraping-Knives, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming partthereof, in which Figure 1 is a side elevational view of a rubber scraping-knife, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken on the line :1: ofFig. 1.
As illustrated in the drawings,- the leading feature of my design consists in the configuration or shape of the rubber blade and handle comprising the scrapingknife for fine china, glassware, and the like. The rubber blade a is oval in form. The rear end a of said blade is slightly curved, and the forward end a has a greater degree of curvature than the rear end. The lower edge ((Of this blade is beveled, and the forward end a is also beveled, as at n.
