Be it known that I, JOHN II. IIUMES, a citizen of the United States, residing at St. Louis, State ofMissourhhave invented and produced a new and original Design for Punches, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, showing a part thereof.

As shown in the accompanying drawing, the body 1 is provided with walls or blades, forming cutting edges, the latter of which are on a plane with one another, the formation of said walls, as hereinafter described, forming the leading feature of my design.
Referring to the drawing, 2 and 3 represent two blades 01' walls on a line with one another, and I and 5 two similar blades or walls arranged at right angles to the first-named walls and form a continuation of the same. Forming a continuation of the walls or blades I and 5 and arranged parallel with the blades 9 and 3 are narrow walls or blades (3 and 7. The additional walls or blades 8 and 9 are separated from the remaining ones and are arranged at an angle to the same, but are parallel with one another, the ends farthest removed from said remaining walls being each curved or rounded, as shown at 10 and 11, all of said walls forming a continuation of the body 1 and projecting therefrom.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a punch, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I ailix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
