2 INVENTOH v I c. n" BY "s M ATTORNEYS UNITED STATES PATENT OEEIcE.
ADAM O. WILLIAMS, OF RAVENNA, OHIO.
DESIGN FOR A TOY BANK.-
SPECIFIGATION forming part of Design No. 35,374, dated December 3, 1901.
Application filed November 11, 1901. Serial No. 81,954. Term of patent '7 yearsv To ctZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ADAM C. WILLIAMS, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Ravenna, Portage county, and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Toy Banks, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure I shows my design in elevation. Fig. II shows my design in side elevation. Fig. III shows a top plan.
Referring to the drawings, a represents a fiat circular base portion,on which is mounted a body portion 5, comprising the convex faces 0 and d and the rounded sides e and fand the top There is 1.10 real line of demarcation between the sides e and f and the top g, as they form a continuous curved surface which increases in Width as it approaches the top. This surface is deeply corrugated by transverse ridges and furrows, which show both from front and side views. In the center of the top is formed a slot 9. The convex faces 0 and d are approximately circular in form and are identical in configuration. Each represents a full face view of an Indian, with a head-dress of plumes and feathers completely encircling the face. The feathers are so arranged that the tips of the feathers correspond with the ridges on the top and sides.
The leading feature of my design for a bank consists in the convex faces and the intervening corrugated surface constituting the top and sides.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for a toy bankas herein shown and described.
Signed by me at Cleveland, Ohio, this 17th day of October, 1901.
ADAM C. WILLIAMS.
