DESIGN FOR A FIRE-BRICK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,841, dated December 20, 1898. Application filed November 12,1898. Serial No. 696,310. Term of patent 14 years 0 all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HARRY S. VRooMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, Cook county, Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Fire-Brick, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

As shown in the drawings, my design for fire-brick consists of a rhomboidal configuration. It is molded or formed with a plane vertical side a and at right angles therewith horizontal edges 1) b, the cross-diameter of the former being slightly greater than the similar diameter of the latter. Extending upwardly and outwardly from the edge I) is the side face 0', the vertical diameter of which is approximately two-thirds of the vertical diameter of the brick. Extending downwardly and outwardly from the edge I) is the face 0, the vertical diameter of which is approximately one-third of the vertical diameter of the brick. The ends d are exactly alike and are in the rhombic shape shown in Fig. 2.
