DESIGN FOR A DISPLAY-RACK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,772, dated May 31, 1898.
Application filed April 11, 1898. Serial No. 677,237. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES E. MORROW, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and.
original Design for Display-Racks, of which the following is a clear and exact description, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it apperlains to make and use the same.
My design relates to display-racks.
The drawing represents a perspective view of my new design for display-racks.
The leading feature of my design consists of a series of vertical standards having sleplike inclined bars secured thereto and a series of horizontal rods carried thereon.
1 represents a series of rear standards.
2 represents a series of front standards, which are shorter than the rear standards.
3 represents a series of step-like side supports secured to the front and rear standards.
4 are a series of secondary standards socured to the supports 3 and projecting upwardly therefrom.
5 are a second and upper series of step-like inclined supports, the lower ends of which are secured to the standards 4 and the upper rear ends to the standards 1.
6 are a series of horizontal bars carried in seats upon the supports 3 and the supports5 and serve to hold the goods displayed.
Standards 4 have a pivotal connection 7 upon the supports 3, and 8 are adjustable connections between the series of supports 3 and 5 and the standards 1, 2, and 4.
9 are bed-plates for the standards.
