UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
DAVID FRANK, OF NEW YORK, N. Y., ASSIGNOR OF ONE-HALF TO JOHN TROUNSTINE, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR AN END FRAME FOR BEDSTEADS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,963, datedJanuary 22, 901- Anplication filed December 26, 1900. Serial No. 41,164. Term of patent '7 years.
To aZZ whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, DAVID FRANK, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, (Brooklyn,) Kings county, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for an End Frame for Bedsteads, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, and in which is represented a perspective View of an end frame for bedsteads bearing and incorporating my design.
The leading features of my design consist of the form and ornamental configuration of the end fralne, substantially as shown.
In the drawing, A A designate the cornerposts, which curve inward toward each other at their upper ends and inclose the ornate scroll-rods B B. The upper portions of the posts A A are connected by the upper and lower ornamentally-curved or scrolled rods 0 D, which define a field or panel inclosing the scrolled rods E E, the latter corresponding with one another and being at opposite sides of the center of said field or panel. The corner-posts A A have intermediate their lower portions the horizontal rod F, and intermediate this horizontal rod F and the rod D are the series of vertical rods G. The parts above referred to are formed and disposed with relation to one another in the manner shown and combine to produce an end frame of attractive design.
What I claim is The design for an end frame for bedsteads, substantially as shown and described.
Signed at New York, (Brooklyn,) in the county of Kings and State of New York, this 22d day of December, 1900.
DAVID F RANK.
