DESIGN FOR A BADGE.
Specification for Design.
Patented Oct. 13, 1908.
Application filed August 27, 1908. Serial No. 450,596. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, BURTON THOMPSON, a citizen of the United States of America, and a resident of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Badges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
In the said drawing the figure is a front elevation of a badge showing m new design.
As shown in the drawing the badge is composed of the following letters: A, B, E, F, H, L, N, O, P, R, T, and Y. The letter A is readily found in the lower part of the emblem, While B forms the outer part of the emblem together with the central horizontal bar. E is formed by the three horizontal bars and the left end vertical bar while F is formed similarl omitting the lowest horizontal bar. H 1s formed by the two vertical bars and a portion of the central horizontal bar. L is formed by the left end vertical and the lowermost horizontal bar. N is formed in the upper left hand corner of the emblem by the upper portion of the two Vertical bars intersected by the upper left hand inclined bar. O is shown at the top of the emblem while P is formed by the upper portion of B and omitting the lower portion of said letter. R is formed by the upper portion of B together with the entire left hand Vertical bar and the lower right hand inclined bar. T is formed by the central Vertical bar and the topmost horizontal bar and Y is formed by the lower portion of the central Vertical bar taken together with the two uppermost inclined bars.

The ornamental design for a badge as shown and described.
