UNITE STATES PATENT OFFICE.
DAVID FRANK, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, ASSIGNOR OE ONE-HALF TO JOHN TROUNSTINE, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESlGN FOR AN END FRAME FOR BEDSTEADS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,188, dated March 5, 1901. Application filed February 9, 1901. Serial No. 46,737. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it 772/601, concern.-
Be it known that 1, DAVID FRANK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, Kings county, New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for an End Frame for Bedsteads, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, and in which is represented a front elevation of an end frame for bedsteads bearing and incorporating my design.
The leading features of my design consist of the form and ornamental configuration of the end frame, substantially as shown.
In the drawing, A A designate the cornerposts of the end frame, and B denotes the top rail, extending intermediate said corner-posts and with the same defining the exterior outline of the end frame. The upper portions of the posts A A curve outward and then inward,
as at C, where they merge into the top rail B, which has the central curved section D, harmonizing with the curved portions 0.
E indicates the usual lower horizontal rod or rail, between which and the upper ornamentally-scrolled rod F are the vertical rods G. The rod F harmonizes with the top rail B and with said top rail B defines a field containing at opposite sides of its vertical central line the ornate scroll-rods H, as shown.
What I claim is The design for an end frame for bedsteads, substantially as shown and described.
Signed at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, this 5th day of Feb ruary, 1901.
' DAVID FRANK.
