DESIGN FOR A STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,602, dated August 20, 1895. Application filed April 1, 1895. Serial No. 544,100- Tr-rm of patent 7 years To (17/ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, AUGUsTUs C. BARLER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ohicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain Design for tovcs, of which the following is a specifica- Lion.
My invention relates to a design for stoves.
The design is illustrated by the accompanying drawing, wherein the figure of the drawing, is a front View showing my design.
A is the lower rim of the cap or crown M; B, the upper cylindrical portion; C, the lower cylindrical portion; E E, the side legs; F, the front leg, directly below the apertu re G, about which is the ornamental work H, and in the center of which is the thnnibscrew J.
K is the window or opening.
L is an ornamental work or the like.
N is the urn or ornament.
X X are feet formed of half halls made solid with the legs to give the effect of rollers.
The front leg, the wick-adjuster opening and ornament, the window with ornamental work, and the urn are all in the same vertical 25 line in front of the stove, and this is one of the characteristic features of my design.
The connection between the two cylinders is as shown. The characteristic features are, first, the arrangement, as above indicated, in 0 one straight vertical front line of the several features referred to-the leg, the ornamented aperture and thnmbscrew, the ornamented window, and the u r11; second, the peculiar design of the rail and its supports, as shown and 33 described, and, third, the peculiar manner of effecting the transition by oppositely-curved surfaces from the upper to the lower cylindrical portions.
I claim- The design for a stove substantially as herein shown and described.
