DESIGN FOR A FRAME FOR LOCOMOTIVES.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design NO. 24,628, dated August 20, 1895.
Application filfl May 3, 1395. Serial No. 548,058. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM P. HENSZEY,a citizen of the United States, residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented 'a certain new and useful Design for a Frame for L0- comotives, of which the following is a specification. 4
My design for the frame of a locomotive is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which represents the frame in perspective.
The essential feature of the design is the peculiar form of the upper portion of the frame, which is depressed, as clearly illustrated.
The upper bar A of the frame is continuous and is depressed at a, as shown, and depending from the portion A ofthe frame are pedestals b, and depending from the portion A of the frame are pedestals b, and extending from one pedestal b to the end of the upper bar is an angle-bar 12 from the opposite pedestal b to a pedestal b is a bar 11 A connecting-bar b extends from one pedestal b to another, and a projection b extends from the lower portion of the end pedestal b, as clearly illustrated in the drawing.
I claim- The design for the frame of a. locomotive as herein described and shown in the accompanying drawing.
