DESIGN FOR A CORNER-BRACKET FOR BEDSTEADS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,189, dated February 14, 1899.
Application filed January 3, 1899. Serial No. 701,044. Term of patent '7 your.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, MILTON L. CROSS, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Corner-Bracket for Bedsteads, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming part of the invention.
My invention relates to a design for a corner-bracket for bedsteads adapted for use in securing the corner-posts and side rails of a bedstead together and is of the contour shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a view illustrating my design in perspective, and Fig. 2 is a front elevation of the same.
The leading feature of my design consists of the vertically-disposed bar A, substantially rectangular, having its outer face B concaved along its entire length, as clearly illustrated in the drawings. In the concave portion B is an opening extending transversely through the barA of substantially the shape of an inverted keyhole, having the lower enlarged portion a and terminating in the upper elongated portion b. 1
The bracket 0 extends from the rear wall of the bar A for supporting the side rails of the bedstead.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a corner-bracket for bedsteads substantially as herein shown and described.
