DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR SPOONS, FORKS, 800.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 28,631, dated May 17, 1898.
Application filed April 11, 1898. Serial No- 677,239- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHRIS SILBER, of Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have inventeda new Design for a Handle for Spoons, Forks, 85c. and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a face view of a handle for spoons, forks, &:c., embodying my design.
This invention relates to a design for a handle for spoons, forks, &c.; and it consistsin the configuration and ornamentation as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
As herein shown, the handle gradually expands from the body of the spoon or fork and is ornamented by long narrow scrolls A,
springing from short scrolls B near the inner end and meeting long narrow scrolls C near the center of the handle. The upper ends of the scroll C appear to pass beneath a series of small foliated scrolls D, from which spring gradually-enlarging scrolls E, which are surmounted by a crown of small shell-like scrolls F, the central upper portion of the face of the handle forming an irregular panel G.
Having fully described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
A design for a handle for spoons, forks, &c., as herein shown and described.
