SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,240, dated June 22, 1897.
Application filed Marsh 10 1897. Serial No. 626,890- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
lie it known that I, MILTOX l3. HILL, a citizen of the United States, residing in Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massw ehusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for (fulfil lolders, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a design fora cull?- holdcr, and the leading feature thereof consists in a longitudinal stem or shank having a head (illustrated extending in opposite direet-ions therefrom) provided with transverse portions at its outer ends, said stem and head having substantially the appearance of the conventional two-edged battle-ax. This form of cuff-holder embodies, among other advantages, those of general beauty and convenient shape for the purpose for which it is intended.
In the drawing accompanying and forming part of this specification, the figure is a perspective view of a cull-holder, showing the design.
My design is composed of a longitudinal stem or shank A, having a headed portion B at one end in the shape, substantially, of a twocdged battle-ax. The stem is illustrated as having rounded edges 7, which connect with the concave portion 8 on the under side of the head 1 although it may be of any desired couligu ration.
The head I of the device extends oppositely from the stem and has at its outer ends the transverse portions 2 and 3, the edges of which are curved longitudinally, as shown at l and 5, respectively, and are also blunt or rounded, as at (i.
What I claim is The design for a cuitholder, substantially as shown and described.
