DESIGN FOR A COVERED DISH.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,024, dated December 31, 1895.
Application filed September 26, 1895. Serial No. 563,808. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
' ie it known that I, 'JHEonoRE IIAVILAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at Annlwzae, in the Department of Ilaute-Vienne hepublie of France, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Dishes; and I do hereby declare the following to he a full, clear, and exactdescription of the same, reference being had to the aeeompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
The principal feature of my design consists in a covered dish marked 01% into sections, having the base of the dish and periphery of the cover ornamented with a chain-like deeoration. and simulated vine-leaves.
Figure 1 represents a side View of the dish; Fig. 2, a face view of the cover.
In Fig. 1, A A represent the chain-like and simulated vine-leaf decoration at the base of the dish and periphery of the cover; 13 1;, the sections into which the (over and upper portion of the dish are divided; and (l (l, the ornamentations of thehandles. lhe chai n-like decorations A A at the base of the dish and periphery of the eoverare indented at regular intervals corresponding with the sections .Ii 13.
In Fig. 2 the irnlentations of the periphery of the cover are marked with ornanieniations representing leaves and fruit.
The decorations of the handles Figs. 1 and 2, representgrape-vines with leaves and fruit at the points whereihe handles join the li()(i of the dish.
What I claim. is-
The design fora dish substantially as shown and described.
