UNITED ,STATES PATENT OFFICE.
FRIEDERIGH LESCHHORN, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR TRIMMING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,626, dated January 28, 1890. Application filed December 16. 1889. Serial No. 333,972- Term of patent 8% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRIEDERICH LESGH- HORN, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York, county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Trimming, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a design for a trimming for ladies dresses, upholstery, and other purposes; and it consists of a design for a trimming composed of a main portion, edge fringes, said main portion being formed of a central checkered band, groups of longitudinal threads separating the checkers, and longitudinal groups of threads at both sides of the central band, and of corded fringes at both sides of the main portion.
The nature of my design is fully shown in the accompanying drawing, to which reference is made.
A in the drawing represents the mam portion, and E the edge fringes at each side of the same. The main portion A is composed of acentral checkered band C,which is formed of braids and cords, checkers d d, that are separated by groups e c of longitudinal threads from each other, and by several groups e of longitudinal threads from the edge fringes B B. The central checkered band forms the main feature of the design, as it imparts a very ornamental character to the trimming.
Having thus described my design, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent The design for a trimming, as described and shown.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed my name in presence of two subscribing witnesses.
' V FRIEDERICH LESCHHORN.
