DESIGN FOR GIMP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No.1'7.325, dated May 10. 1887.

To all whom it may concern.-
Be itknown that I, ISAAC H. LEITER, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gimps, of which the following is a specificalion, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
My new design for gimps consists 01 a configuration formed of a longitudinal baud running along the center of the gimp, transverse bars crossing the same at regular intervals; of a longitudinal band running along each side of the central band and near the scalloped edge ofthe gimp, and transverse bars crossing the same at regular intervals, and a series of parallel strands running longitudinally along the gimp between the central and outer bands and slightly in advance ofeach other, thereby giving the strands the appearance of converging toward the central band.
