To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I. ADoLPn PETZOLD, a citizen of the United States, and a. resident of Philadelphia. Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Rugs, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photographic illustration, to which reference is made.
In the illustration, A is a central rcetangular panel. B B are scroll-leaves; O G, fanciful flowers; D, a cluster of dotted figures in the general form of flowers; E E, large fanciful figures in the general form of grape-leaves; F F, triple-lcaved horned fanciful figures; G. an ornamental border provided with scalloped figures H H, the apex of each scallop terminating in multiple points I I.
J J are flowers, and K K fanciful designs,
20 these flowers and the latter-named designs fill ing in the borders.
The leading features of my design will be fully set forth in the following claims.
What I claim as new is- 1. In a design for rugs, the central rectangular panel, A, with scroll-leaves B B, fanciful flowers G O, bunches or clusters of dotted figures D, largeleaves E E in the general form of grape-leaves, triplc-leaved horned fanciful figures F F, and ornamental border G, sub stantially as described and shown.
2. In a design for rugs, the ornamental hor dcr G, provided with scalloped figures H H, the apex of each scallop terminating in nlultiple points I Lwith flowers J J, and fanciful designs K K, substantially as described and shown.
