To all w/tam it may concern Be it known that I, CHARLES F. .Woon, of
Summit, in the county of Union and State of New Jersey,
have invented and produced a.
5 new and original Design for Letters, of which the following is a full,. clear, and-exact-description.
Reference-is to be had to the accompany i ng drawing, forming part of this specification, in
which a face view of my newly-designed letter for jewelry is shown.
My design consists of a letter made of heads of he 5 rainfor instance, s, oat-heads; corn-heads, &c.a, which are formed on the stone inlaid. The heads a may be made plain, or
wheat heads, rye- A, either in relief or may be set with diamonds or other precious stones B. The grain-heads are arranged in according to the letter to be diiferent shapes, 20 produced, and may curved longitudinall be arranged straight, or transversely, or diago nally. In order to" counterbalance the grainheads proper, the stems are provided with one or more leaves, I), at the ends opposite the heads. v
