The figure B is a band adjoining the stripe A, and contains a series of figures resembling hour-glasses laid sidewise, a large one alternating with a small one along the band.
The stripe G contains at its upper part an ornamental background, (1, consisting of a se- 2 5 ries of lines or bars with rectangular knobs upon them at intervals. The lower part of the stripe O is composed of a series of pillars, b, supporting slender arches which cross each other.
The band D adjoins the stripe C and con tains an ornamentation of a series of small crosses in a row, between which are dotted fig ures and other shorter crosses.
The stripe E contains a row of pointed figures with broken outlines, and having small figures in their centers.
The stripe F contains an ornamentation composed of the flower G, resembling a sunflower; of the leaf H, one-half of which is seen in the photograph, resembling a palm-leaf; of the leaf I, composed of a center with leaves projecting around it; also, of the flower-like figure J, one-half of which is visible in the photograph, and of the circular figure K, composed of anumber of small rectangular figures placed together. The background of the stripe F is formed of small circles, rectangles, and crossing lines.
The band L is ornamented with a series of figures somewhat resembling hour glasses, 5o placed sidewise, below which runs a series of circular figures.
