To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY BERGER, of the city, county, and State of New York, have originated a new Design for Center-Piece, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact ('lescription, reference being bad to the accompanying photograph, which represents a face view of my design.
My design consists in a central shield formed of a rosette and a circular bead, which is frii'iged with scallops, in combination with a panel surrounding said shield, and which is ornamented by a wreath of foliage, and with a circular border composed of a series of foils, segments, and arabesqnes, whereby I obtain it design presenting a. handsome and distinguishing appearance.
In the photographic illustration, theletter A designates a rosette, and B is a circular bead, fringed with scallops C, composing the central figure or shield of my design. D is a panel surrounding said central bead, and containing a wreath, E, of foliage, the same consisting of stems carrying leaves and berries. Sai d panel D isinclosed bye circular border composed of foils F, segments G, and arabesqnes H, the foils being united by said segments, and the ambesqnes being interposed between the foils, as shown. Each of the foils F is ornamented by a button, I, situated in the central portion thereof.
\Vhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a center-piece, consisting of a central shield formed of a rosette, A, and a circular bead, I3, which is fringed with scat lops, in combination with a panel, D, snrrounding said shield, and which is ornamented by it wreath, E,oi'tbliage,and with acireular bolder composed of foils F, segments G, and arabesques H, substantially as shown and described.
