Be it known that I, ADALINE ROSE, of Bath, in the co invented certain new and useful improvements in Carpet-Sacks and dohereby declare thatthe following is afull, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings land .the letters of reference marked thereon. y
In the annexed drawings, making a part of this specification, A represents a carpet-sack, which is'of leather, carpeting, or other suitable material, and somewhat longer than the ordinary sacks. At each side of the handles, and extendingfrom the month to the bottom of the sack, on each side of the carpet-sack, are leather straps, B B, which are held in their places by keepers, C. 'It will be seen that the straps are provided with a series' of openings through which the buckle-pin passes, so as to connect the two ends of the said straps for thev purpose of drawing the carpet-sack together, (as shown in Figure 2,) to be used for a smaller or larger amount of clothing.
