TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that we, JOSEPH CHENOWETH and JOHN McLAIN, in the county of Auglaize, in the State of Ohio, have invented a. new and improved Clasp forAtta-ching Leather Straps or Bands in Harness, or any other place to which the principle may be applied; and we do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.

B B is also flared underneath, to correspond with A A, thereby forming a cavity through which the tug cannot pass, with the pin C inserted, as seen in figs. 3 and 4. In fig. 3 hame-tug D is first passed into the clasp; pin 0 is inserted into the same, and all drawn back to place; long tug E is then passed through the clasp, and the loop F pinned and drawn back to place.
What we claim as our invention is The manner of construction of the clasp, as herein described, for the uses set forth.
