therefore, my purpose to claim broadly a positive means of diverting the direction of fiovv of the lint stream with more specific claims to the particular arrangement herein disclosed.
Having thus described my invention, What I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent; is
In cotton condenser having a lint flue connected therewith, an air drum, and bat forming rolls therein, said condenser having -a passage between said. drum and said rolls, diverting means disposed in said passage for diverting the direction or flow of the lint stream, said diverting means comprising at 1 least one set composed of a plurality of blades disposed in the direction of flow of the lint stream in said passage, and said set of blades having controlling members adjustable from the outer side of the condenser, said controlling members provided with cooperating connections whereby adjustment of one blade Will correspondingly move another blade in said set.
