[Class 86] Mixing-apparatus comprises a drum C, Fig. 3, which is charged and discharged through a side door and is rotated, by hand or power, oppositely to a central shaft E<1> having radial blades passing between blades on the drum. Heating fluid may be passed through the shaft by connections S<1>, S<2>, Fig. 4, and fluid for treating the material supplied to the drum by pipes F<1>, F<2>.
