IMPROVEMENT IN SEESAWS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 116,502, dated June 27, 1871; anteda-ted June 19, 1871.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SARAH E. SAUL, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of N ew York, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in Seesaws; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exa-ct description ot' the construction and operation of theA same, reference being had to the annexed drawing making a part of this specification, and to the letters and iigures of reference marked thereon. Figure. l ofthe drawing is a representation of Fig. 2

A series of transverse grooves, c e, is formed in the bottom ofthe board at about its central portion, and is designed to enable the board to be adjusted on the fulcrum-block to suit the varying weights of the children who may be placed in the seats. I claim- In combination with the lever or board B, provided with the slot c, Openings k, seats D, and grooves c, the fulcrum-block A having the angular bearing b, and the pole E with its pulley a and cord z, substantially as specified.
