To all whom tt may concern Be it known that we, WALTER D. DAVIS, CHARLES W. BLAKEsLEE, and JOSEPH G. PECK, all of Watertown, in the county of Litchfield and State of Uonnectiharness-ornament of wire, suitably coiled and held, asv
will be fully described hereinafter.

To enable others skilled in the art to make and use our invention, We will now proceed tode.scribe fully its construction.
A represents a rosette, consisting of aproper length of coiled wire, a, which is reeoiled in pyramidal form upon itself to make a cone, as shown inv fig. l.
The lower end ofthe length c is suitably secured to any proper' base-plate, al, while the upper end is held by a cap, a2, or other suitable means. f
If desired, a properly-Shaped Support, lo, of wood. or other suitable material, may be attached to the baseplate, for convenience in forming the cone of wire and for the purpose of making the rosette more durable.`
By turning the edges of the base-plate up over the lower edge of the wooden cone `a very rnl connection is made between the parts.

What we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-'- A harness-ornament, composed vof' the following elements, to wit: A base-plate, center-support, length of coiled wire, and finishing-cap, combined` substantially as described.
