mPROV-EMENT IN GUIDE-ROLLING- HOOP.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the sansa.
To `all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, Emo LINDHOLM, of Brooklyn,
Kings county, and State of New York, have invented an Improved Rolling-Hoop, or toy for children; and do hereby declare that the tbilowing is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had lto the accompanying drawings, making part of this specidca.- Y

This invention relates to` a guide-rolling hoop for young children who are not grown, or sutiiciently dexteious to manage a rolling-hoop with a stick or beater; au
It consists of an ordinary rolling-hoop, to which is attached a guide, said guide consisting of a handle, (which is held by the child,) having a slotted springclasp, which embraces the hoop, and through which the hoop revolves, by means of which the child is enabled to roll the hoop along in a vertical position, and
guide, detached from the direct its course, and, when desired, can detach the guide and use the same as a beater, as the grown children do,

The construction of the. guide B, with curved springclasp D, having free vopenings d (l at the ends, while the elastic middle portion thereof retains the hoop in the guide, substantially as herein specified.
