To all whom fit .may concern Beit known that I, OHAUNGY GRAHAM, of Elizabeth, in the county of Union and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and improved Design for the front of a Country House; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had the accompanying drawing forming part of this specification, which drawing represents a front elevation of a country house ornamented according to this invention.
The principal features of my design are the arcs on the sides and the gable-shaped cornice on the top of the main attic Windows in a house with a French roof, the edges of the roof being curved to correspond to the side arcs of said main attic windows. In the drawing- 'lhe letter A designates the front 'of a house which is provided with a French roof, B, and with attic windows O D.
The side attic window Gis ornamented by an arched cornice, E, with its ends projecting inward.
The main attic windows D are situated under the gable-shaped cornice F and between the arcs G, which extend from the gable-shaped cornice F down to the main cornice H.
The edges I of the roof are convex, to correspond to the arcs G on the sides of' the main att-ic windows.
By the arcs G and the gable-shaped cornice F, a novel and rich appearance is given to the front of the house.V
That I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

2. The gable-shaped cornice F over the attic windows D, as shown.
