Abstract

A device for arc welding contains an input rectifier with the inputs for connection to the power system, keys, filters- capacitors, an arc welding transformer, an output rectifier, a capacitor, a choke, terminals. One side of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected through the key with the common point formed by output of the input rectifier and filter-capacitor. Other side of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected through another key to the common point formed by another output of input rectifier and by another filter-capacitor. The midpoint of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected with the common point of filters-capacitors in-series connected together. The secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the initial rectifier, capacitor and in-series through the choke to the terminals for connection with the arc gap. Invention relates to arc welding, in particular, to DC sources of electrical arc.
