Abstract

A device for arc welding contains an input rectifier with inputs for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, capacitors, an output rectifier, a choke, terminals. One side of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected through the capacitor and key with common point of one of the outputs of input rectifier and filter-capacitor. Other side of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected through another capacitor and another key to the common point of another output of input rectifier and another filter-capacitor. The midpoint of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected with the common point of filters-capacitors. The secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the output rectifier, capacitor and in-series through the choke to the terminals for connection with the arc space. Invention relates to arc welding, in particular, to DC sources of electrical arc.
