Abstract

A device for arc welding contains input diode for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, capacitors, an output rectifier, a choke, terminals. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one end is connected with the midpoint of capacitors. Capacitors are connected in series between them and connected from one side through the key to the common point formed by cathode of input diode and by filter-capacitor in-series connected with another filter-capacitor. From other side another capacitor through another key is connected to another filter-capacitor for connection to the neutral conductor of the power system. The primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected by another end with the common point of filters-capacitors, in this case the secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the output rectifier and in-series through the choke to the terminals for connection with the arc space.
