Abstract

A device for arc welding contains input diodes for connection to the power system, keys, an arc welding transformer, capacitors, an output rectifier, terminals. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one end is connected with the common point of capacitors being connected in series between them and connected from one side through the key to the cathode of input diode, for connection of the anode of this diode to the phase of the power system. From other side another capacitor through another key is connected to the anode of another input diode for connection of the cathode of this diode to another phase of the power system. Another end of the primary winding of arc welding transformer has an output for connection to the neutral conductor of the power system, in this case the secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through output rectifier to the terminals for connection with the arc space.
