Abstract

A device for arc welding contains input diodes for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, capacitors, an output rectifier, a choke, terminals. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one end is connected through the capacitor with the common point of keys in-series connected and connected in parallel to the filters-capacitors also in-series connected between them and connected by common point with one of the keys to the anode of input diode, for connection of the cathode of this diode to power system, and by another common point with another key is connected to the cathode of another input diode for connection through this diode to the power system. The primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected by another end with the midpoint of filters- capacitors. The secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the output rectifier, capacitor and in-series through the choke to the terminals for connection with the arc gap.
