Abstract

A device for arc welding contains input diodes for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, an output rectifier, a terminal. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one end through the key is connected with filter-capacitor and cathode of input diode for connection through this diode to the power system. The primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected by another end through another key with another filter- capacitor and cathode of another input diode for connection of the anode of this diode to the power system. The midpoint of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected with the common point of filters-capacitors for connection to the neutral conductor of the power system. The secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the output rectifier to the terminals for connection with the arc space. Invention relates to arc welding, in particular, to DC sources of electrical arc.
