Abstract

The invention refers to arc welding, in particular, to the dc power supply of electrical welding arc. A device for arc welding includes steering diodes for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, an output rectifier, a choke. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one end through the key is connected with filter-capacitor and cathode of steering diode for connection through this diode to the power system, by another end the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected through another key with another filter- capacitor for connection to the neutral conductor of the power system. The midpoint of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected with the common point of filters-capacitors and the anode of another steering diode for connection of the cathode of this diode to the power system. The secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the output rectifier and choke to the terminals for connection with the arc space.
