Abstract

A device for arc welding contains input diodes for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, a capacitor, an output rectifier, a choke, terminals. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one end through the capacitor is connected to the common point of keys connected in series between them and connected in parallel to filters-capacitors also in-series connected between them and connected by common point with one of the keys to the anode of input diode for connection of the cathode of this diode to the phase of the power system, and by another common point with another key connected with the cathode of another input diode for connection of the anode of this diode to the neutral conductor of the power system. The primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected by another end with the common point of filters-capacitors, in this case the secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the output rectifier and in-series through the choke to the terminals for connection with the arc space.
