Abstract

A device for arc welding contains an input rectifier with inputs for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, capacitors, an output rectifier, a choke, terminals. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one side is connected through the capacitor with the common point of keys in-series connected between them and connected in parallel to the outputs of input rectifier. Other side of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected with the common point of filters-capacitors in-series connected between them and connected also in parallel to the outputs of input rectifier. The secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the output rectifier, capacitor and in-series through the choke to the terminals for connection with the arc gap. Invention relates to arc welding, in particular, to DC sources of electrical arc.
