Abstract

A device for arc welding contains an input rectifier with inputs for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, capacitors, an output rectifier, a choke, terminals. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one end is connected through the capacitor with the common point of other capacitors in-series connected together and connected of one side through the key to the common point of filter-capacitor and output of input rectifier. From other side the capacitors are connected through another key to the common point of another output of input rectifier and another filter-capacitor, the filters-capacitors are in-series connected together. Other side of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected to the common point of filters-capacitors for connection to the neutral conductor of the power system. The secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through output rectifier and the capacitor and in-series through the choke to the terminals for connection with the arc gap. Invention relates to arc welding, in particular, to DC sources of electrical arc.
