Abstract

一種卡緣連接器,其包括縱長的絕緣本體、固持在所述絕緣本體內的複數導電端子以及與所述絕緣本體一體成型的金屬件,所述絕緣本體設有沿其縱長方向延伸的兩側壁、位於所述兩側壁之間的中央插槽以及位於絕緣本體兩端的凸座,所述凸座向上突伸出所述兩側壁的頂面,所述金屬件包括位於所述兩側壁的主體部,所述金屬件的底部設有連接兩主體部的橫樑。

Description

卡緣連接器
本發明係一種卡緣連接器,尤其係指一種整體強度大幅度提升的卡緣連接器。
目前,業界用以連接擴充卡與電路板的卡緣連接器,通常設有塑膠座體及耳扣,塑膠座體上設有複數導電端子,其兩側設有凸座,凸座中設有收容耳扣的插槽,插槽兩側壁設有樞接孔,耳扣樞接於樞接孔中,該耳扣可將擴充卡穩固的扣持於卡緣連接器內,防止因震動脫離產生訊號中斷,同時耳扣上還設有退卡機構,可藉由耳扣的轉動將擴充卡退出卡緣連接器中。然,隨著電子設備的發展,該卡緣連接器局限於其塑膠結構及強度,無法承受較重電子卡。
故,需要開發一種新的卡緣連接器以解決上述問題。
本發明的目的在於:提供一種具有金屬件的卡緣連接器,所述金屬件一體成型於絕緣本體內。
本發明之目的係藉以如下技術方案達成之:一種卡緣連接器,其包括縱長的絕緣本體、固持於所述絕緣本體內的複數導電端子以及與所述絕緣本體一體成型的金屬件,所述絕緣本體設有沿其縱長方向延伸的兩側壁、位於所述兩側壁之間的中央插槽以及位於絕緣本體兩端的凸座,所述凸座向上突伸出所述兩側壁的頂面,所述金屬件包括位於所述兩側壁的主體部,所述金屬件的底部設有連接兩主體部的橫樑
相對於習知技術,本發明的金屬件與絕緣本體一體成型,且所述金屬件的底部設置橫樑及連接橋,從而大幅度提升卡緣連接器的整體強度且使得本卡緣連接器可承受較重電子卡。

請參考第一圖至第六圖所示,本發明卡緣連接器100用於與一電子卡(未圖示)對接,所示卡緣連接器100包括縱長的絕緣本體1、收容於所述絕緣本體1的複數導電端子4、與所述絕緣本體1一體成型的金屬件2以及可旋轉的樞接於所述絕緣本體1兩端的耳扣3。所述電子卡設有第一、第二卡槽,所述電子卡與本卡緣連接器100達成對接後,所述耳扣3扣持於所述第一卡槽。
所述絕緣本體1包括沿其縱長方向延伸的兩側壁11、位於兩側壁11之間的用以插接電子卡的中央插槽101以及位於所述絕緣本體1兩端的凸座12。所述凸座12向上突伸超出所述兩側壁11的頂面。所述絕緣本體1還包括位於所述兩凸座12之間的防呆部13。所述凸座12包括面向所述防呆部13的內端面121、與所述內端面121相對的外端面122以及連接所述內端面121與所述外端面122的兩側面123。所述凸座12還設有貫穿所述內端面121與所述外端面122的溝槽124。所述溝槽124與所述中央插槽101連通。所述凸座12在其兩側面123的邊緣設有朝向外側突伸的第一凸肋125。所述絕緣本體1在對應所述防呆部13處設有自所述兩側壁11朝向外側突伸的第二凸肋14。所述第一凸肋125與所述第二凸肋14均沿所述金屬件2的邊緣設置以避免所述金屬件2翹曲。
所述金屬件2包括位於所述兩側壁11的主體部21及自所述主體部21延伸並位於所述凸座12的兩側面123的延伸部22。所述主體部21的頂部朝 向所述中央插槽101延伸有頂部邊緣211,所述頂部邊緣211對應所述防呆部13處設有缺口212。所述金屬件2的底部還設有連接兩主體部21的橫樑23,在本實施例中,所述橫樑23是設置於所述金屬件2的縱長兩端,但並不局限於金屬件2的兩端,所述橫樑23也可設置於兩延伸部22之間的任意位置的底部。所述金屬件2還設有位於所述防呆部13下側的連接橋24,所述連接橋24的中部設有定位孔241以於所述金屬件2與所述絕緣本體1一體成型時定位所用。
所述耳扣3包括相對的兩基部31、自基部31向兩側突伸的定位柱32、包覆於所述基部31的頂部的操作部33。所述凸座12設有貫穿所述兩側面123的樞接孔126,所述定位柱32樞接於所述樞接孔126以使操作員撥動所述操作部33時,所述耳扣3可圍繞所述定位柱32在一定角度內旋轉。
結合第七圖及第八圖所示,所述絕緣本體1還設有自其底面102繼續向下延伸的突出部15,所述突出部15的橫向寬度小於所述絕緣本體1的橫向寬度。所述突出部15對應所述橫樑23及連接橋24處分別設有第一凹槽151及第二凹槽152,所述橫樑23及連接橋24埋設於所述突出部15並部分暴露於所述第一、第二凹槽151、152。所述金屬件2的兩端自所述主體部21向下延伸有焊接腳25,所述焊接腳25向下延伸超出所述突出部15。參考第四圖所示,所述絕緣本體1在所述第二凹槽152的一側設有自所述突出部15繼續向下突伸的凸塊16。由於絕緣本體1在其縱向上的長度遠大於所述絕緣本體1在其橫向上的寬度,在製造過程中,所述絕緣本體1的兩端容易向下彎曲,使得絕緣本體1的兩端與中間部位不在同一水平線上,此時,所述凸塊16即可補償所述絕緣本體1的兩端與中部的誤差。參考第七圖及第八圖所示,所述金屬件2與所述絕緣本體1一體成型從而使得所述卡緣連接器100的整體強度增強。所述金屬件2的橫樑23及連接橋24設置於所述金屬件2的底部並暴露於所述絕緣本體1的底面102。
第九圖及第十圖所示卡緣連接器100’為本發明的另一種實施方案。所述卡緣連接器100’包括縱長的絕緣本體1’、收容於所述絕緣本體1’內的複數導電端子4’與所述絕緣本體1’一體成型的金屬件2’以及可旋轉的樞接於所述絕緣本體1兩端的耳扣3’。所述絕緣本體1’、耳扣3’及導電端子4’皆與上述卡緣連接器100中的絕緣本體1、耳扣3及導電端子4相似,故不再詳細闡述。所述卡緣連接器100’與上述卡緣連接器100的不同之處在於:所述金 屬件2’在延伸部22’與頂部邊緣211’之間還設有自主體部21’的頂部向上延伸並固持在凸座12’內的懸臂26。所述懸臂26包括自主體部21’向上延伸並固持在凸座12’內的豎直部261及自所述豎直部261朝向溝槽124’延伸並突伸進所述溝槽124’內的卡持部262。當插入電子卡(未圖示)時,所述卡持部262下壓,當卡持部262通過電子卡的第二卡槽時,所述卡持部262回彈至原位;當拔出所述電子卡時,所述卡持部262提供保持力,當電子卡完全退出時,所述卡持部262回彈至原位。
相較於習知技術,本發明卡緣連接器100的金屬件2與絕緣本體1一體成型從而使得卡緣連接器100的整體強度大幅度提高,另,所述金屬件2底部設置的橫樑23及連接橋24、所述絕緣本體1的第一凸肋125、第二凸肋14以固持所述金屬件2的兩主體部21,從而避免金屬件2發生翹曲。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種卡緣連接器,其包括:縱長的絕緣本體,其包括沿其縱長方向延伸的兩側壁、位於所述兩側壁之間的中央插槽及位於絕緣本體兩端的凸座,所述凸座向上凸伸出所述兩側壁的頂面;複數導電端子,固持於所述絕緣本體內;及金屬件,其與所述絕緣本體藉由注塑成型為一體;其中,所述金屬件包括固持於所述兩側壁的主體部,所述金屬件的底部設有連接兩主體部的橫樑,所述絕緣本體設有自其底面繼續向下延伸的突出部,所述突出部在對應橫樑處設有第一凹槽,所述橫樑暴露在對應第一凹槽內。
  2. 如請求項1所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述絕緣本體還包括位於所述兩凸座之間的防呆部,所述金屬件設有位於所述防呆部下側的連接橋,所述連接橋設有定位孔。
  3. 如請求項2所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述金屬件還包括自所述主體部向上延伸並固持在所述凸座內的懸臂。
  4. 如請求項3所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述凸座包括面向所述防呆部的內端面、與所述內端面相對的外端面以及連接所述內端面與所述外端面的兩側面,所述金屬件設有自所述主體部延伸並固持於所述兩側面的延伸部。
  5. 如請求項4所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述凸座還設有貫穿所述內端面與所述外端面的溝槽,所述溝槽與所述中央插槽連通,所述懸臂包括自所述主體部向上延伸的豎直部及自所述豎直部朝向所述溝槽延伸並突伸進所述溝槽內的卡持部。
  6. 如請求項2所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述凸座包括面向所述防呆部的內端面、與所述內端面相對的外端面以及連接所述內端面與所述外端面的兩側面,所述凸座於其兩側面的邊緣設有自兩側面朝向外側突伸的第一凸肋。
  7. 如請求項6所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述絕緣本體在對應所述防呆部處設有自所述兩側壁朝向外側突伸的第二凸肋,所述第一凸肋與所述第二凸肋均沿所述金屬件的邊緣設置以避免所述金屬件翹曲。
  8. 如請求項2所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述突出部的橫向寬度小於所述絕緣本體的橫向寬度,所述突出部在對應所述連接橋處設有第二凹槽,所述連接橋暴露於所述第二凹槽內。
  9. 如請求項8所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述絕緣本體在所述第二凹槽的一側設有其所述突出部繼續向下突伸的凸塊。
  10. 如請求項2所述的卡緣連接器,其中,所述金屬件的主體部的頂部朝向所述中央插槽延伸有頂部邊緣,所述頂部邊緣對應所述防呆部處設有缺口,所述金屬件的兩端自所述主體部向下延伸有焊接腳。
