Description

充填裝置(一)
本發明係關於一種將液體充填於板狀體間之充填裝置,例如關於一種用於將樹脂液體充填於影像顯示面板與透明板等大型板狀體間之充填裝置。
先前,貼合板狀體之工法,有貼合碟片基板之裝置(參照專利文獻1)。此種貼合裝置具備:平台,其載置壓模;基板保持台,其於平台上升降,並且保持貼合基板;以及噴嘴,其將接著劑塗佈於壓模上。
而且,當壓模載置於平台上,且基板保持台藉由真空吸附而以與壓模相向之方式保持基板時,貼合裝置藉由噴嘴將接著劑噴出至壓模上。接著劑係於落至壓模上後膨起而亦與基板接觸,從而於平台及基板保持台旋轉之同時擴散至壓模與基板之間。此後,藉由紫外線照射或加熱使接著劑硬化,從而使壓模與基板接著。

然而,於使一對板狀體相向,並將噴嘴插入至其間隙而充填樹脂之情形時,板狀體間之間隙越窄則越有噴嘴與板狀體之表面滑動接觸從而損傷板狀體之虞。尤其是光碟或液晶面板等有光線射入之基板、或發出光線之基板方面,若因噴嘴之滑動接觸而傷及表面,則會造成光之散射等,從而有對記錄播放特性或辨識性造成不良影響之虞。
又,若產生所謂滴液(即已噴出之樹脂附著於噴嘴之噴出口,且附著之樹脂於噴出停止後仍懸垂者),則樹脂會附著於基板之端面等預期外之部位,而導致其擦拭步驟變得繁複,除此以外,亦存在與充填至特定部位之樹脂相比更早地硬化等,導致氣泡殘留於一對板狀體之間隙之虞。
進而,若為防止噴嘴與板狀體之主面滑動接觸而降低噴嘴之移動速度,則之前噴出之樹脂與之後噴出之樹脂之間,亦存在暴露於空氣中之時間大不相同,從而充填特性或硬化特性產生差異之虞。
因此,本發明之目的在於提供一種充填裝置,其可防止因噴嘴與板狀體接觸而產生之板狀體之損傷,且可於不降低噴嘴之移動速度之下將充填液塗佈於一對板狀體之間隙,又,亦可防止滴液。
為解決上述之課題,本發明之充填裝置係具備:複數個保持構件,其以使板狀體之主面相向之方式保持板狀體;移動構件,其使上述複數個保持構件接近或分開;噴嘴,其穿插於被上述保持構件保持而相對向之一對板狀體之間隙,並將充填液噴出至上述間隙;噴嘴移動機構,其使上述噴嘴於涵蓋上述板狀體之面內方向之範圍移動;控制手段,其控制上述噴嘴移動機構;儲存部,其儲存上述充填液;以及擠壓機構,其使儲存於上述儲存部之充填液自上述噴嘴噴出;且上述噴嘴係以樹脂塗覆者。
根據本發明,由於噴嘴係以樹脂塗覆,故較板狀體柔軟,且於因振動或彎曲等而與板狀體抵接時,亦無損傷板狀體之虞。又,本發明中,由於噴嘴係以樹脂塗覆,故可防止所謂滴液(附著之充填液於噴出停止後仍自噴出口懸垂者)。進而,由於噴嘴係以樹脂塗覆,故本發明可於不降低噴嘴移動機構之移動速度之情況下塗佈充填液,從而之前噴出之充填液與之後噴出之充填液之間,亦無因暴露於空氣中之時間產生差異而產生之品質差異。
以下,參照圖式詳細說明本發明之充填裝置。
該充填裝置1係如下之裝置:使用液晶面板2及用以保護液晶面板2表面之保護面板3作為一對板狀體,並將接著劑7充填於該等液晶面板2與保護面板3之間,從而使液晶面板2與保護面板3貼合。
如圖1、圖2所示,充填裝置1中具備:作為保持構件之液晶面板保持台4,其保持液晶面板2;作為保持構件之保護面板保持台5,其保持保護面板3;作為移動構件之致動器6,其藉由使保護面板保持台5升降,而使液晶面板2與保護面板3接近或分開;噴嘴10,其穿插於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間,並噴出接著劑7;噴嘴移動機構11,其使噴嘴10移動; 作為儲存部之注射器15,其與噴嘴10連接,並儲存接著劑7;以及擠壓機構13,其使接著劑7自噴嘴10之噴出口17噴出;且該等係配設於工作台14上。
液晶面板2係於形成為大致矩形狀之上下2個玻璃基板間封入有液晶之液晶單元,且於面向視聽者側之一方基板上接著有保護面板3。保護面板3係提高液晶面板2之辨識性、或保護液晶面板2免受衝擊或損傷者,可使用例如強化玻璃或壓克力板等透明之板。
保持液晶面板2之液晶面板保持台4係固定於工作台14上,且藉由真空吸附等手段,以使液晶面板2與保護面板3之接著面朝向表面之方式保持液晶面板2。保持保護面板3之保護面板保持台5,係由致動器6支持於液晶面板保持台4上,且藉由真空吸附等手段,以使保護面板3與液晶面板2之接著面朝向表面之方式保持保護面板3。又,液晶面板保持台4及保護面板保持台5,均將液晶面板2或保護面板3之吸附面設定於大致鉛垂方向,使液晶面板2及保護面板3之各主面朝向大致鉛垂方向而進行保持。
此處,為方便進行液晶面板2與保護面板3之位置對準,較佳為該等液晶面板保持台4及保護面板保持台5中之至少任一方為透明。充填裝置1中,係將液晶面板2保持於液晶面板保持台4之特定位置,並將保護面板3保持於保護面板保持台5之特定位置,藉此進行液晶面板2與保護面板3之位置對準。因此,充填裝置1,需要液晶面板2相對於液晶面板保持台4之位置對準、及保護面板3相對於保護面板保持台5之位置對準。
如圖3所示,充填裝置1,係以透明之材質形成液晶面板保持台4,藉此可自液晶面板保持台4之與液晶面板2之吸附面為相反側之面,利用相機16讀取形成於液晶面板2的位置對準用之基準標記M。同樣地,充填裝置1,係以透明之材質形成保護面板保持台5,藉此可自保護面板保持台5之與保護面板3之吸附面為相反側之面,利用相機16讀取形成於保護面板3之位置對準用之基準標記M。
本實施例中之充填裝置1,係將液晶面板2吸附於液晶面板保持台4之特定位置,並進行保護面板保持台5與保護面板3之位置對準,藉此進行保護面板3相對於液晶面板2之位置對準。因此,如圖4所示,充填裝置1係將保護面板保持台5形成為透明,並且將相機16固定於與保護面板3之吸附面為相反側之面,從而讀取印刷於與保護面板3之接著面為相反側之基準標記M。
具體而言,充填裝置1係以基準標記M位於相機16之圖框中心之方式對準保護面板3之位置。再者,充填裝置1亦可將保護面板3之外形作為基準,例如以保護面板3之角部與圖框之基準線一致之方式對準保護面板3之位置等。
支持保護面板保持台5之致動器6,係使保護面板保持台5於圖1中箭頭Z方向及反箭頭Z方向之上下方向升降者。致動器6,係於欲使液晶面板2或保護面板3保持於各平台4、5時使保護面板保持台5上升,於欲使接著劑7充填至液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙時使保護面板保持台5下降。
又,致動器6係於接著劑7之充填時,使保護面板保持台5下降,藉此將液晶面板2及保護面板3保持為特定之間隔,該間隔係後述之噴嘴10可穿插噴嘴、且接著劑7可一面與液晶面板2及保護面板3接觸一面塗佈的程度。而且,致動器6係於接著劑7之充填後,使保護面板保持台5進一步下降,而以特定之力將保護面板3壓向液晶面板2側特定之時間,將接著劑7擠壓擴散於液晶面板2及保護面板3之整面。
用以將接著劑7噴出至液晶面板2與保護面板3之間之噴嘴10,具有與保持於液晶面板保持台4之液晶面板2、及保持於保護面板保持台5之保護面板3之各主面平行的筒狀體。又,藉由噴嘴與供給接著劑7之注射器15連結,噴嘴10被支持於可在處於彼此接近之位置之液晶面板2與保護面板3的間隙內進退而不會與兩面板接觸之高度。而且,噴嘴10係藉由噴嘴移動機構11而向圖1中反箭頭X方向、圖2中箭頭Y方向及反箭頭Y方向移動,從而於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙內描繪出後述之特定噴出圖案。
如圖5所示,該噴嘴10係由以金屬或工業用塑料形成之噴嘴本體10a、及塗覆噴嘴本體10a且不會損傷液晶面板2及保護面板3之柔軟的樹脂層10b所構成。樹脂層10b係藉由使低.摩擦性、耐磨耗性、非濕潤性、耐蝕性等優異之樹脂(例如氟系樹脂)經由燒附塗裝等附於噴嘴本體10a之表面而形成。
噴嘴10形成有樹脂層10b,藉此,於一面於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙移動一面噴出接著劑7時,滑動接觸到液晶面板2及保護面板3之情形時,亦無損傷液晶面板2及保護面板3之虞。即,噴嘴係以金屬或工業用塑料形成,且藉由後述之噴嘴移動機構11而一面於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙移動一面塗佈接著劑7。此時,噴嘴10係以不與液晶面板2及保護面板3抵接之方式移動,但於因振動或彎曲等而與液晶面板2及保護面板3抵接之情形時,由於噴嘴10係由樹脂層10b塗覆,故亦無損傷液晶面板2及保護面板3之虞。
又,噴嘴10設置有非濕潤性、耐蝕性優異之樹脂層10b,藉此,可防止所謂滴液(即接著劑7於噴出停止後仍自噴出口17懸垂者)。因此,噴嘴10可將接著劑7僅塗佈於特定部位,從而可防止接著劑7附著於預期外之部位。
進而,噴嘴10由於可防止因與液晶面板2及保護面板3接觸而產生之損傷,故可於不降低噴嘴移動機構11之移動速度的情況下塗佈接著劑7。因此,之前噴出之接著劑7與之後噴出之接著劑7之間,暴露於空氣中之時間差異不大,從而亦不產生充填特性或硬化特性之差異。其原因在於,因基板越大型化,接著劑7之塗佈步驟所需之時間越增加,另一方面,卻期望不降低噴嘴移動速度而迅速結束接著劑7之塗佈,但充填裝置1可不降低噴嘴移動機構11之移動速度而塗佈接著劑7,故而有利。
又,如圖6(A)所示,噴嘴10亦可藉由傾斜地切割前端之上面而使噴出口17朝向鉛垂方向上側。藉此,噴嘴10若開始噴出接著劑7,則最初使接著劑7附著於位於上方之保護面板3,其次,藉由重力而使接著劑7附著於下方之液晶面板2。而且,噴嘴10係一面噴出接著劑7一面於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙內移動,且如圖7所示,通常係以接著劑7附著於液晶面板2及保護面板3之兩面之狀態塗佈。
如上所述,充填裝置1係使噴嘴10之噴出口17朝向上方向,並且通常係以接著劑7附著於液晶面板2及保護面板3之兩面之方式塗佈,藉此可防止氣泡殘留於接著劑7中。
再者,如圖6(B)所示,噴嘴10之直徑Φ 係以例如6 mm≧Φ ≧2 mm形成。該直徑Φ 係根據液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙而決定,且選擇不會與兩面板接觸之值。
又,如圖6(C)所示,噴嘴10之噴出口17之角度α係以90°>α≧30°形成。若該角度α成為90°以上,則噴嘴10開始進行噴出時無法使接著劑7附著於保護面板3,又,接著劑7殘留於噴出口17,從而有接著劑附著於預期外之部位之虞。又,若該角度α未達30°,則噴嘴10開始進行噴出時接著劑7難以下降至下方之液晶面板2側,從而產生捲入氣泡之虞。具體而言,該角度α係於90°>α≧30°之範圍內,根據接著劑7之黏度而決定,且係選擇適於如下條件之角度:接著劑7最初附著於上側之保護面板3,繼而在不捲入氣泡之情形下附著於液晶面板2,從而一面與兩面板接觸一面噴出。
使噴嘴10移動之噴嘴移動機構11具備:第1噴嘴平台19,其載置注射器15;以及第2噴嘴平台20,其載置第1噴嘴平台19。第1噴嘴平台19中,於上面19a搭載有注射器15,於下面19b安裝有滑件22。藉由滑件22於設置在第2噴嘴平台20上之第1導軌23上滑動,可使第1噴嘴平台19向圖2中箭頭Y方向及反箭頭Y方向移動。
又,第2噴嘴平台20中,於上面20a形成有導引第1噴嘴平台19之第1導軌23,於下面20b形成有與工作台14之第2導軌24嵌合之滑件25。藉由滑件25於形成在工作台14上之第2導軌24上滑動,可使第2噴嘴平台20向圖1中箭頭X方向及反箭頭X方向移動。
充填裝置1具備2個第1噴嘴平台19,且藉由2個噴嘴10A、10B來塗佈接著劑7。噴嘴移動機構11具有控制第1噴嘴平台19及第2噴嘴平台20之移動的作為控制手段之控制機構21,且與液晶面板保持台4及保護面板保持台5之升降動作連動,使噴嘴10沿大致水平方向移動,藉此,在不與液晶面板2及保護面板3接觸的情形下使噴嘴10穿插至兩面板之間隙或自該間隙退出。
再者,充填裝置1中噴嘴10之數量並不限定於2個,亦可搭載1個或3個以上。於該等情形時,各噴嘴10亦分別與載置於第1噴嘴平台19之注射器15連結,且各第1 噴嘴平台19係滑動自如地支持於第2噴嘴平台20。
載置於第1噴嘴平台19之注射器15中,儲存有藉由噴嘴10噴出之接著劑7。又,注射器15係與用以使所儲存之接著劑7從噴嘴10噴出之擠壓機構13連接,而進行接著劑7之噴出與噴出停止之控制、及噴出壓力之控制。擠壓機構13,係使用例如氮氣等惰性氣體之高壓罐(bomb),且由控制機構21來控制向注射器15內之氣體之供給與供給停止、及供給壓力,藉由以特定之壓力將氣體供給至注射器15內而使接著劑7自噴嘴10噴出。
由噴嘴10所噴出之接著劑7,例如可使用透明之紫外線硬化型之彈性樹脂,該彈性樹脂之折射率係被控制為「即便充填於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間,亦可抑制光之散射而不損傷液晶面板2之辨識性」之程度。
又,接著劑7可一面同時附著於液晶面板2及保護面板3一面進行充填,且可選擇能維持「在不會自兩面板2、3之外緣流出之情形下附著於兩面板2、3」之狀態的黏度,例如可於1000mPa~4000mPa之範圍使用。又,根據此種接著劑7之黏度,液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙尺寸可設定為3.5mm~10mm之範圍。
繼而,參照圖8及圖9對充填裝置1之動作進行說明。再者,於本實施例中,雖針對將接著劑7充填至矩形狀之液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙的情形進行說明,但液晶面板2及保護面板3之形狀並非限定於矩形。
首先,充填裝置1中,藉由致動器6將液晶面板保持台4及保護面板保持台5分開,於液晶面板保持台4上吸附有液晶面板2,並且於保護面板保持台5上吸附有保護面板3(圖8(a)、圖9(a))。
如上所述,於液晶面板保持台4上,液晶面板2載置於特定位置。又,保護面板保持台5係形成為透明,且為了將保護面板3保持於與載置於特定位置之液晶面板2對應之特定位置,可利用固定於吸附面側之相機16將形成於保護面板3之吸附面側之基準標記M拍攝下來。充填裝置1,係以基準標記M位於相機16之圖框中心之方式來對準保護面板3之位置,藉此,將保護面板3保持於與液晶面板2正對之特定位置。
再者,此時藉由控制機構使第1噴嘴平台19向圖1中反箭頭X方向移動,從而使噴嘴10自液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙向反箭頭X方向退出。
於液晶面板2與保護面板3之位置對準結束後,充填裝置1中,藉由控制機構使2個第1噴嘴平台19向箭頭X方向滑動,使各噴嘴10A、10B自液晶面板2及保護面板3之各長邊方向之一端側的側面2a、3a側穿插至間隙(圖8(b)、圖9(b))。此時,噴嘴10A、10B係預先穿插至當液晶面板2與保護面板3接近時不會與兩面板接觸之高度(圖8(b))。又,噴嘴10A、10B之噴出口17,係位於液晶面板2及保護面板3之各長邊方向之另一端側之側面2b、3b側的附近(圖9(b))。
此後,充填裝置1係藉由操縱致動器6使液晶面板保持台4及保護面板保持台5接近,將液晶面板2及保護面板3保持在特定之間隔(圖8(c))。
其次,充填裝置1中,一面藉由控制機構使第1、第2噴嘴平台19、20移動,一面自噴嘴10A、10B噴出接著劑7,從而於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙內描繪出特定之充填圖案(圖8(d)、圖9(c))。此時,噴嘴10A、10B係一面向反箭頭X方向、箭頭Y方向及反箭頭Y方向移動,一面噴出接著劑7。因此,噴嘴10A、10B之噴出口17不會進入已充填於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙內的接著劑7中,從而可防止接著劑7附著於噴嘴本體。藉此,充填裝置1可防止因附著於噴嘴10A、10B之接著劑7而使預期外之部位附著接著劑7之情況。
又,如上所述,由於噴嘴本體10a係以低摩擦性、耐磨耗性、非濕潤性、耐蝕性等優異之樹脂層10b所塗覆,故於因振動或彎曲等而使噴嘴10A、10B與液晶面板2及保護面板3抵接之情形時,亦無損傷液晶面板2及保護面板3之虞。又,噴嘴10A、10B係設置有樹脂層10b,藉此可防止所謂滴液(即接著劑7於噴出停止後仍自噴出口17懸垂)。進而,噴嘴10A、10B可於不降低噴嘴移動機構11之移動速度的情況下塗佈接著劑7,從而之前噴出之接著劑7與之後噴出之接著劑7之間,亦無因暴露於空氣中之時間產生差異而產生之品質之差異。
又,噴嘴10A、10B當將噴出口17朝向上方時,接著劑7一旦開始噴出,則噴嘴會使得接著劑7附著於上方之保護面板3,此後,接著劑7會下降而附著於下方之液晶面板2。噴嘴10A、10B就這樣一面向反箭頭X方向、箭頭Y方向及反箭頭Y方向移動一面噴出接著劑7,而描繪出特定之描繪圖案P1(圖8(e)、圖9(d))。此時,由於接著劑7一面同時附著於液晶面板2及保護面板3之兩面一面進行塗佈,故噴嘴10A、10B可防止氣泡殘留於接著劑7中。
如圖9(d)所示,充填於該液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙的接著劑7之描繪圖案P1具有:粗線部30,其於液晶面板2及保護面板3之中央部沿長邊方向而描繪;細線部31,其自該粗線部30之兩端向液晶面板2及保護面板3之四角延伸。粗線部30係沿液晶面板2及保護面板3之長邊方向而大致形成於中央,細線部31係自粗線部30之長邊方向之兩端連續地向液晶面板2及保護面板3之四角而形成。
描繪圖案P1係藉由如下之方式而形成:具備2個噴嘴10A、10B之充填裝置1之其一噴嘴10A與另一噴嘴10B,經由粗線部30而於短邊方向描繪出對稱形狀。即,其一噴嘴10A描繪出描繪圖案P1之一側的粗線部30a及細線部31a,另一噴嘴10B描繪出描繪圖案P1之另一側的粗線部30b及細線部31b。藉由噴嘴移動機構11使2個噴嘴10A、10B同步移動,且分別地,藉由一面向反箭頭X方向後退一面向彼此接近之箭頭Y方向或反箭頭Y方向移動而描繪出其一細線部31,繼而藉由向反箭頭X方向後退而描繪出粗線部30,進而再接著藉由一面向反箭頭X方向後退一面向彼此分開之箭頭Y方向或反箭頭Y方向移動而描繪出另一細線部31。
再者,噴嘴10A、10B係將每單位時間之接著劑7之噴出量設為固定,並且控制第1、第2噴嘴平台19、20之移動速度,藉此可分別描繪出粗線部30與細線部31。
一旦結束於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙形成特定之描繪圖案,則充填裝置1係藉由控制機構21操縱第1、第2噴嘴平台19、20,從而使噴嘴10A、10B自液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙退出(圖8(f))。
繼而,充填裝置1藉由致動器6而使保護面板保持台5下降,擠壓液晶面板2及保護面板3,擠壓擴散接著劑7(圖8(g)、圖9(e))。此時,充填裝置1中,由於描繪圖案P1以對稱形狀描繪於兩面板2、3之中央,故均勻地擴散於兩面板2、3之整體。又,充填裝置1因設置向兩面板2、3之四角延伸之細線部31,故接著劑7切實地擴散至兩面板2、3之四角。再者,致動器6之擠壓力或擠壓時間可根據液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙、接著劑7之黏度、或塗佈量等而決定,例如可設定為擠壓力2.5 kPa、擠壓時間0.3秒。
此後,充填裝置1解除來自致動器6之擠壓,並且解除液晶面板保持台4對液晶面板2之吸附、及保護面板保持台5對保護面板3之吸附,並於常壓下放置特定時間,例如5分鐘。藉此,接著劑7均勻地充填至液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙內,包括各個角落(圖9(f))。充填裝置1係於接著劑7充填至間隙之各個角落之後,利用未圖示之紫外線照射裝置照射紫外線,藉此進行接著劑7之硬化處理。
如上所述,充填裝置1由於以一筆畫描繪出成為對稱形狀之描繪圖案P1,故而可於最短時間內描繪出均勻擴散之描繪圖案P1。
又,充填裝置1亦可一面使噴嘴10與液晶面板2或保護面板3中較硬之面板滑動接觸,一面塗佈接著劑7。如圖10(A)所示,充填裝置1亦可一面使噴嘴10之噴出口17與由強化玻璃或壓克力板等透明之板所構成之保護面板3抵接,一面使噴嘴10於液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙內移動。
一面使噴出口17與保護面板3抵接一面使噴嘴10移動,藉此,由於充填裝置1中噴嘴10被保護面板3所導引而移動,故可防止搖晃,將接著劑7之噴出量保持為固定,又,可將噴嘴10之移動速度保持為固定。再者,充填裝置1中,因為於噴嘴10形成有低摩擦性、耐磨耗性優異之樹脂層10b,故於噴出口17與保護面板3滑動接觸之情形時,亦不會損傷保護面板3,又,樹脂層10b亦不會破損、磨損。
該充填裝置1係將噴嘴10預先向上傾斜而安裝於注射器15上,且藉由控制機構21,控制致動器6而設定保護面板3之高度,以使得噴出口17與保護面板3滑動接觸。再者,此時充填裝置1亦將液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙設定為如下高度:自噴出口17噴出之接著劑7一面附著於液晶面板2及保護面板3之兩面一面進行塗佈之高度。
再者,於液晶面板2與保護面板3中液晶面板2較硬之情形時,如圖10(B)所示,充填裝置1使噴嘴10之噴出口17與液晶面板2滑動接觸。如上所述,藉由使噴嘴10與一對面板中之較硬者滑動接觸,充填裝置1中噴嘴10被切實地導引,故可防止搖晃,且可一面將接著劑7附著於液晶面板2及保護面板3之兩面一面進行塗佈。又,充填裝置1中噴嘴10被切實地導引,藉此可將接著劑7之噴出量保持為固定,且可不降低噴嘴10之移動速度而保持為高速。
再者,充填裝置1係因應面板形狀而未必要將描繪圖案P描繪成對稱形狀。又,充填裝置1亦可藉由移動1個噴嘴10而將描繪圖案P描繪成對稱形狀。又,充填裝置1亦可以至少具有一個成為對稱點之接觸點的方式描繪出描繪圖案P之對稱形狀。進而,充填裝置1於將接著劑7塗佈於例如圓形之面板2、3之情形時,於面板2、3之中央形成圓形之描繪圖案P即可。
又,噴嘴移動機構11,亦可具備複數個噴嘴10,噴嘴自液晶面板2及保護面板3之相對向之邊插入間隙。當液晶面板2及保護面板3大型化,例如具有相當於12英吋以上之液晶電視之大小之情形時等,如圖11所示,於與噴嘴10相對向之兩面側具備噴嘴10及噴嘴移動機構11,並同時塗佈接著劑7,藉此可縮短接著劑7之塗佈所需之時間。
即,圖11所示之充填裝置50中,於矩形狀之液晶面板2及保護面板3之短邊方向的兩側,分別具備2個噴嘴10A、10B、及使2個噴嘴10A、10B移動之噴嘴移動機構11。而且,充填裝置50中,於接著劑7之塗佈步驟中,自短邊方向之一邊51及另一邊52分別插入2個噴嘴10,而描繪特定之描繪圖案P。
此時,各噴嘴10A、10B,係沿著自兩面板2、3之大致中央向著成為插入端之一邊51或另一邊52之方向、及兩面板2、3之長邊方向而同步移動。描繪結束後,各噴嘴10A、10B,自成為插入端之一邊51或另一邊52退出。因此,噴嘴移動機構11可使複數個噴嘴10A、10B以最短之路線移動,且即便為大型面板,亦可於較短時間內描繪出特定之描繪圖案P。
另一方面,於將接著劑7塗佈於相對小型、中型之液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙之情形時,如圖9所示,於矩形狀之液晶面板2及保護面板3之長邊方向之一側,具備1個或複數個噴嘴10即可。當然,於將接著劑7充填至小型、中型之液晶面板2與保護面板3之間隙之情形時,亦可於矩形狀之液晶面板2及保護面板3之長邊方向之兩側具備1個或複數個噴嘴10。
以上,係對將用於貼合2個板狀體之接著劑7充填至板狀體之間隙的充填裝置進行說明,但本發明之充填裝置,亦可以使各主面相對向之方式保持3片以上之板狀體,並將接著劑7等充填液充填至各板狀體之間隙。
於該情形時,本充填裝置中,用以保持構成中間層之板狀體(即構成最上層及最下層之板狀體以外的板狀體)之保持手段,為了使該板狀體之兩主面開放,而把持板狀體之側緣。又,本充填裝置中,亦可將把充填液充填至各板狀體之間隙之噴嘴及噴嘴的移動機構,設置於板狀體之每個間隙,於該情形時,亦可將把充填液分別噴出至不同間隙之複數個噴嘴及噴嘴移動機構,配置於矩形狀之板狀體之每個不同邊。另一方面,本充填裝置亦可以利用一個噴嘴將充填液充填至複數個間隙之方式移動操縱噴嘴。
本發明除液晶面板2與保護面板3之接著以外,亦可使用於電漿顯示與其保護面板之接著。又,亦可使用於電視、行動電話、PDA、可攜式遊戲機、數位靜態相機、攝錄影機、數位相框、有機EL、觸控面板等各種顯示器與保護面板之接著。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種充填裝置,其具備:複數個保持構件,其以使板狀體之主面相向之方式保持該板狀體;移動構件,其使該複數個保持構件接近或分開;噴嘴,其穿插於被該保持構件保持而相對向之一對板狀體之間隙,並將充填液噴出至該間隙;噴嘴移動機構,其使該噴嘴於涵蓋該板狀體之面內方向之範圍移動;控制手段,其控制該噴嘴移動機構;儲存部,其儲存該充填液;以及擠壓機構,其使儲存於該儲存部之充填液自該噴嘴噴出;且該噴嘴係以樹脂塗覆;該控制手段係以該噴嘴之前端與該一對板狀體中較硬之板狀體滑動接觸之方式控制該噴嘴移動機構。
  2. 一種充填裝置,其具備:複數個保持構件,其以使板狀體之主面相向之方式保持該板狀體;移動構件,其使該複數個保持構件接近或分開;噴嘴,其穿插於被該保持構件保持而相對向之一對板狀體之間隙,並將充填液噴出至該間隙;噴嘴移動機構,其使該噴嘴於涵蓋該板狀體之面內方向之範圍移動; 控制手段,其控制該噴嘴移動機構;儲存部,其儲存該充填液;以及擠壓機構,其使儲存於該儲存部之充填液自該噴嘴噴出;且該噴嘴係以樹脂塗覆,該噴嘴與支持於上側之該板狀體滑動接觸。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之充填裝置,其中,該充填液係接著該一對板狀體之接著劑,且該移動構件係於上述噴嘴進行噴出後,使該複數個保持構件接近以將該充填液擠壓擴散至該一對板狀體之間隙。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之充填裝置,其中,該樹脂為氟系樹脂。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之充填裝置,其設置有複數個該噴嘴,且各噴嘴係自該一對板狀體之一邊插入於該間隙。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之充填裝置,其中,該噴嘴設置於該一對板狀體之一邊側及另一邊側,且自該板狀體之一邊側及另一邊側插入於該間隙。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第5項之充填裝置,其設置有2個該噴嘴,且各噴嘴係以該充填液分別描繪出對稱形狀,該對稱形狀具有沿該板狀體之長邊方向之粗線部、及自該粗線部向該板狀體之短邊方向外側延伸之細線部。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第6項之充填裝置,其設置有2個該 噴嘴,且各噴嘴係以該充填液分別描繪出對稱形狀,該對稱形狀具有沿該板狀體之長邊方向之粗線部、及自該粗線部向該板狀體之短邊方向外側延伸之細線部。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之充填裝置,其中,被支持成相對向之該一對板狀體係影像顯示面板及黏貼於該影像顯示面板上之透明之保護面板;該充填液係透明樹脂。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之充填裝置,其具備使充填至該板狀體間之該充填液硬化之硬化手段。
