Claims (7)

  1. 一種照明裝置,其特徵在於包括:固體光源裝置;讀取透鏡單元,其控制自上述固體光源裝置入射之光之行進方向;及偏光轉換元件,其使自上述讀取透鏡單元之光射出面射出之光之偏光方向一致;且構成上述讀取透鏡單元之上述光射出面之透鏡為非球面透鏡,該非球面透鏡係自上述讀取透鏡單元之光軸方向觀察之光射出面之形狀為以上述光軸為中心之旋轉對稱之形狀,且以與上述光軸平行之平面切開之剖面之形狀為非球面之形狀;且上述非球面透鏡之光射出面具有如下功能:使自上述固體光源裝置之中心射出之光於相對於上述光軸相對較近之區域平行化而射出,且於相對於上述光軸相對較遠之區域以向上述光軸側收斂之方式射出。
  2. 如請求項1之照明裝置,其中於上述偏光轉換元件與自上述偏光轉換元件射出之光照射到之照明對象之間,設置有使向上述照明對象之照射區域之外側行進之光向上述照射區域之內側反射的反射機構。
  3. 如請求項2之照明裝置,其中上述反射機構係形成將內面設為反射面之角形柱狀,且以一開口部朝向上述偏光轉換元件之光射出面側,另一開口部朝向照明對象之照射區域側之方式配設。
  4. 如請求項3之照明裝置,其中上述反射機構之上述一開口部之開口面積大於上述另一開口部之開口面積。
  5. 如請求項2至4中任一項之照明裝置,其中上述反射機構之反射 面之至少一部分區域具有散射特性。
  6. 一種投影機,其包括:如請求項1至5中任一項之照明裝置;光調變裝置,其係根據圖像資訊而調變來自上述照明裝置之照明光;及投影光學系統,其係將來自上述光調變裝置之調變光作為投影圖像而投影。
  7. 如請求項6之投影機,其中上述光調變裝置為單板之液晶光調變裝置。
